這些顏色各有典故，也帶有不同的隱喻
有時候從字面上不太容易判斷出意思
名揚特別選了幾則和顏色有關的片語幫大家解惑喔~~

[藍色篇]

once in a blue moon
千載難逢地、幾乎未曾有過
*Don't let the chance slip away; it comes once in a blue moon. 不要放過這次機會，這機會真是太難得了。

out of the blue
突然、出乎意料地
*One day, out of the blue, she announced that she was leaving. 有一天，她突然宣布要離開。

until you are blue in the face
直到你精疲力盡
*You can tell her to clean her room until you are blue in the face, but she won't do it. 你就算費盡力氣叫她去打掃自己的房間，她也不會去的。

a bolt from the blue
bolt 閃電
這句話是形容一件重大或不尋常的事，突然地、意外地發生
*The resignation of the chairman came like a bolt from the blue. 董事長意外地提出辭職。

look through blue glasses
以先入為主的觀念或偏見看待一件事情
*This group of interns is really great, so stop looking through blue glasses and judging them based on the poor interns we've had in the past. 這群實習生很傑出，所以不要再用我們以前接觸實習生的糟糕經驗來評斷他們了。

burn with a low blue flame
字面上形容的是瓦斯爐的藍色火焰
意思是形容一個人隱忍著強烈的憤怒
*I was quiet all through dinner because Phil's comments about my appearance left me burning with a low blue flame.
整個晚餐時間我都保持沉默，因為菲爾對我外表的評論，讓我怒火中燒。

這也是一句俚語，形容人喝得爛醉
*Do you remember last night at all? You were burning with a low blue flame!
你還記得昨晚的事嗎？你喝得爛醉！

swear a blue streak
streak 有條紋、光線、條痕的意思
不過這句話是在形容一個人快速又強烈的方式噴髒話~
*My dad swore a blue streak after he found out I'd put a dent in his car. 我爸發現我把他的車弄出一堆凹痕後破口大罵。

into the blue
消失得無影無蹤
（一般會接在 vanish 或類似的動詞後面）
*I have no idea where my keys have gone. They seem to have disappeared into the blue! 我不知道我的鑰匙在哪，它們完全消失了！
