形容很正式、繁文縟節的手續或程序。

red as a lobster
紅得像龍蝦，形容人曬紅、曬傷的樣子。
*She is red as a lobster, after a day at the beach. 她在沙灘上待了一整天，曬得全身通紅。

形容玩得很開心或參加派對。
*We panted the town red when we were on vacation. 我們度假時玩得很盡興。
